Workshop “How to Get Tasks Done”

13 December @ 10:00 am - 15 December @ 6:00 pm

business analysis test

The purpose of the workshop is to enhance your ability to complete your work thoroughly and to ensure execution of managerial directives and tasks by your employees.

The training will give you more control over your team and the ability to better manage every situation. Learn what to do to ensure your tasks are completed.

Good management doesn’t happen by chance. As your business grows and daily operations become more complex, “bad” or missing control can lead to operational disaster. In managing people, control is crucial to ensure that processes and systems work effectively within your organization.

If all your employees always acted in the best interest of the organization, control wouldn’t be necessary — and probably neither would management. But the reality is that sometimes your people can’t or don’t want to act in the best interest of your organization. So, you need to apply good control to help people steer away from undesirable actions and toward desired ones. And since the essence of management is directing the work of others, control exists to ensure that others do what needs to be done.

Who is this training for:

  • For every manager who struggles to get their people to do their work or who themselves have problems with their own tasks and time;

  • For every manager who wants to increase productivity — theirs and that of their team.

Structure: This course contains 20% theory and 80% practice in the form of exercises.

End result: A manager who has the enhanced ability to complete their work to the end and to receive execution of managerial orders and tasks from their employees.

Program:

Theoretical part “The Secret of Effectiveness”

  • Basics of understanding

  • Control

  • Action cycle

  • Positive control

  • Anatomy of control

  • Productivity and control

  • Confusion and control

Practical part of exercises “How to Get Tasks Done”.

These exercises aim to train the manager on how, despite the contingencies, confusions, justifications, excuses, traps, and madness associated with the team environment, to complete actions and achieve execution of tasks and orders. Each exercise is done until the person can do it comfortably and effortlessly.

These are some of the exercises we will do during the workshop:

  • Stand facing various objects in your environment without reacting.

  • Give a task intentionally while dealing with things around you.

  • Confirm the completion of the action cycle.

  • Don’t give up and continue to maintain your intention until the action is completed.

  • Execute the action despite the opposite intention (opposite opinion is one that aims to do the opposite of what you want to do).

  • Stand face to face comfortably with people and maintain your position.

  • Give orders intentionally under different conditions.

  • Provide communication confirmation.

  • Give orders intentionally to a group of people whose attention is elsewhere.

  • Give orders intentionally to a group of people, despite their opposing intention not to carry it out.

  • Stand face to face with the work environment without being distracted.

  • Give orders without deviating from reactions, excuses, and reasons why the task cannot be completed.

  • Get task execution through a third party.

  • Be the cause above the environment of your work.

When and where is the workshop held? This unique workshop will take place on May 17th, 18th, and 19th (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), from 10 am to 6 pm at the Metropolitan Hotel in Sofia.
